When Leah’s fiance leaves her for his new pregnant girlfriend, her very stoic and grumpy boss Gabriel steps in to give her a place to stay…and to become her sperm donor and baby daddy.
This is actually quite a sweet book to read, albeit it still has plenty of spice. Despite Gabriel coming off quite grouchy to start with he really shows a sweet and caring side to him which was lovely to read. It is a bit of a slow burn romance and did take a while for it to get going for me, although it is a nice change of pace to read a book that takes time to develop the relationship.
I loved the chemistry between the two main characters, but I also really like the side characters in Gabriel’s twin Caleb and Leah’s friends.
I was expecting the next book in the series to be Elijah’s (Gabriel’s older brother) given that we get a revelation at the end of the book on him and his daughter but it’s actually Caleb’s which I have already started at time of writing and trust me you need a fan for 🙂
