Really enjoying the Strictly series by Carrie Elks so jumped into this with enthusiasm as soon as I had the chance and it didn’t disappoint. I was looking forward to Holden’s story, the workaholic doctor who we learn likes to beat people up in his spare time - all above board of course. He meets Blair, an equally busy student, sister and auntie and becomes more and more enchanted by her. However… she knows alot more about him than he does about her and that brings complications.
Despite the boxing and drama, it was quite a sweet read at times and I really liked the chemistry built between Holden and Blair, plenty of spicy moments in it and although Holden is not painted as a bad boy in this book, the song ‘Heaven’ by Julia Michaels kept coming to my mind as I was reading this with the line ‘Bad boys bring heaven to you’ on repeat. An easy read in my view, and I got through it one day.
