No Romeo starts with a bang - a runaway bride falling quite literally into the arms of her ex’s enemy number one who also happens to be smoking hot. Oliver offers Evie a deal in exchange for help with her visa to stay in London and humour, love and spice ensue.
I enjoyed how Evie and Oliver bantered back and forth with each other, and the feisty nature of Evie’s character made for some laugh out loud moments. Despite Oliver having a dirty mouth where I felt the need to fan myself sometimes it did take me a little while to warm up to him. The side characters of Fin and Matt though were super fun to read about and looking forward to reading Fin’s story next.
Did I love this book? Not really - it was a little long winded in places and I found the Nora character a bit strange and the ending a tad odd but nonetheless it was an enjoyable read for me and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see how Fin fares.
3.5/5 for me
